Keep your Shades clean by doing routine maintenance. A little maintenance once a week will prevent a major cleaning project.
Array, Honeycomb, Roller, & Sheer Shades Maintenance
- Remove all dust from your Array, Honeycomb, Roller, & Sheer with a hairdryer.
- Clean the Shade with a vacuum with a soft upholstery brush attachment when possible. Test a small unnoticeable spot first to confirm further cleaning is allowable with your shade fabric. Carefully vacuum both sides of the shade taking caution not to snag the shade itself.
- Further deep cleaning of your shades can be done by a professional shade cleaner.
Keep your Blinds clean by doing routine maintenance. A little dusting with a feather duster once a week will prevent a major cleaning project.
Aluminum, Faux, and Vertical Blinds Maintenance
- Remove all dust from your Aluminum, Faux, or Vertical blinds with a feather duster.
- After you have removed the dust from your Aluminum, Faux, or Vertical Blinds, simply use a soft damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning substance such as orange oil to wipe them down. Do not scrub the blinds.
- Do not spray the cleaning substance directly onto the blinds. Spray the cleaning substance into the soft damp cloth and then wipe the blinds down gently after testing a small unnoticeable spot first to confirm further cleaning is allowable with your blinds.
Wood Blinds Maintenance
- Remove all loose dust from your Wood Blinds with a feather duster.
- Use the dry method to clean your Wood Blinds. After you have removed the dust from your Wood Blinds, simply use a non-abrasive soft cloth to wipe them down. Do not scrub the blinds.
- Never immerse Wood Blinds in water. Warpage will occur when wood absorbs moisture. As a reminder, wood is a natural product and its natural reaction is to expand upon contact with water.
